Exciting events happening this season:

June 1-2/8-9, 2024 from 9am-1pm each day, or until till finished. Sign up now for our cob oven building workshop.  Get hands on experience working with natural cob building and reward yourself with some baked items once finished.  The length of the workshop will depend on the amount of people and work accomplished, but plan for at least two weekends spread out, to accomplish the whole oven. Some layers may need to dry before applying the next.

Timberframing, an introduction: TBA

this project will begin once oven is completed. We will erect a timber-framed pole shed over the oven. Basic timber framing will be taught and please make sure you are okay with continuous manual labor in warm to hot weather conditions. Dress appropriately for all weather and safety conditions including/recommended, close- toed shoes, gloves, long pants and sleeves, ear and eye protection and a helmet of some kind if you have one.
